Areas of Need

Where Your Support Goes

Food & Essential Needs

Funding for food distribution, Thanksgiving meals, Christmas gifts, and household essentials for families and elders. We also seek support to provide free meals at powwows and community gatherings.

Youth Programs & Prevention

Grants for youth football, equipment, transportation, educational activities, cultural learning, mentorship, and employment training. Our goal is to give young people positive opportunities, trusted support, and reasons to look toward a healthy future.

Elder Assistance

Support for property cleanup, fence repairs, hauling, and other practical needs that help elders live safely and comfortably.

Donation Storage & Distribution

Funding or donated materials and construction services for a proposed 60-by-100-foot storage building. This facility would protect donated furniture, beds, clothing, and supplies while providing space to organize distributions.

Community Center & Shelter

ICA is seeking approximately 20 acres in the Fort Hall area to develop a community campus with an ICA headquarters, meeting space, a homeless shelter with a kitchen, and an outdoor football and activity field. We seek planning and development grants to help bring this vision to life.

Housing Opportunities

Support to explore a housing program that would help Native families obtain safe, affordable two- and three-bedroom homes. Funding needs include planning, infrastructure, construction, and partnerships with builders.

Cultural Preservation & Community Wellness

Grants for elders' teachings, traditional knowledge, language activities, cultural workshops, and community wellness programs. Our long-term vision includes a hogan-style gathering building for church services and funerals, with the possibility of a future funeral home serving our people.

Equipment & Program Operations

Support for transportation, trailers, tools, storage equipment, insurance, and the everyday costs of collecting donations and delivering community services.

* Future facilities are proposed projects and will depend on securing suitable land, necessary approvals, funding, planning, and development in stages.
